MASS
ON THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 11
Thursday,
February 11th, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, there will not be
a 7:00 PM Mass. Rather, Fr. Connolly will celebrate a Solemn
High Mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite at 6:00 PM.
We are blessed to welcome home His Excellency Bishop Colacicco who will preach!
Any changes due to weather will be communicated as they are decided should
there in fact be inclement conditions.
ADULT EDUCATION UPDATE – FROM JOHN THOMPSON
Bishop Barron, when he was starting out, did an 8-part series on
the Seven Deadly Sins (Pride, Envy, Anger, Sloth, Avarice, Gluttony, and Lust).
Matched against each of these sins is an offsetting virtue that he calls
on us to practice (and you have already guessed that sloth is countered by
zeal).
There are more
episodes than there are weeks in Lent, so I thought that I would start now so
that we could end while it was still Lent. Each episode is 10-15 minutes
long, so it is much shorter than a Pivotal Player episode.
