No Adoration
on Thursday due to First Communion Rehearsal.
The Rosary will
be led by Cardinal Dolan on Saturday, May 8 at 11:00 am at the Marian Shrine,
174 Filors Lane, Stony Point for the people of India as they face a massive
surge in the virus. The Cardinal extends a special invitation to Indian
American parishioners to join him. (This will be outdoors at the Mary Statue).
He invites
parishes to collect funds for India which will be sent to the “Catholic Near East Welfare
Association” a papal humanitarian relief agency which is already working in
India to assist all regardless of their faith. Please put your donation in an
envelope marked “India” and drop it in the collection this weekend or mail it
or place it in one of our drop boxes. (Note - checks written to St. Columba - we will write one check from the parish)
In recent years,
our summer priests have all come from India. This is a good way to say thanks
for their service.
